(I'm assuming there is still an unresolved issue that will cause me to fail to connect if I suspend my computer, but I can't afford to try it now and be offline again.) I changed my Power Management to not suspend from inactivity because I'm afraid I will be unable to connect again. I powered down and restarted the modem and router again and decided to start up my main computer that still has the new T-Link USB adapter plugged in. until suddenly it won't connect any longer. In the meantime I was using a Linux Mint 19.3 live USB on my windows 7 laptop and it connected just fine yesterday, last night and this morning using the laptop's internal wireless card. Unfortunately it too failed to connect after waking it from suspend. Signal was strong and speeds were even faster than my internal card. I bought a T-Link wifi adapter (TP-Link TL-WN823N version 2) and that worked well when I first plugged it in and restarted my computer. After the computer was suspended and woken I could never get the internal card to connect again, even though the signal was strong. I briefly got it working again after restarting the modem and Apple router and then restarting my computer. I have a mini computer with Linux Mint 19.3 (info pasted below) and my internal wifi card stopped being able to connect yesterday. (And I've had the same problems with two different internal wireless cards and a new USB wifi adapter, that have connected and then suddenly won't.) UTF8&psc=1 - work fine with the updated kernel.Įarlier Update: I'm going to change the title of this thread again because I'm starting to suspect that the problem might be some sort of issue with the Apple router and Linux, because I'm the only person in this house with non-Apple computers and the Apple computers are not having Wifi problems. TP-Link TL-WN823N version 2 wifi usb adapter from Target and the Panda 300Mbps Wireless N USB Adapter (PAU05) here. Update: Problem seems to have been resolved with kernel update.
